Mrs Soundara Nayaki Vairavan, a Freelance Journalist by profession has equal love for music. She has been learning music since her childhood and have been under the tutelage of Smt Gowri Gokul since 2009. She has learned keyboard with Dr K Sivaraj at Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society. She has given solo concerts in India, Malaysia and Singapore. She has also been performing during community events, Tamil Language Festival, Temple Festivals and others. She has been invited as a judge for various singing competitions during the Tamil programs.
She has released three Music Albums.
She has written a book ‘An Overview of Tamil Isai’ with her Guru Smt: Gowri Gokul.
Mrs Swarna Kalyan, has been learning Carnatic music since the age of 5. She has given music exams in Karnataka, India. Before moving to Singapore, she has given temple programs in Bangalore, and taught music in Kuala Lumpur to passionate young children for about 1 year.
She started learning Music again in 2005 under the Tutelage of Smt Gowri Gokul. During these years, she started organising Guru Vandanam, an annual program to pay tribute to the GURU. She released her maiden music album on Astalakshmi Kritis tuned by Sangeetha Kalandi Late Sir T M Thiaygarajan as a Tribute to her guru. She also had the experience of working with the Tamil Language council along with Mrs Soundaranayaki Vairavan, organizing Tamil Isai programs for the Tamil Language Festival in 2017 and 2018. The program was well received and reached a wide audience.
Growing up in Bangalore, she didn't get exposure to learn Tamil but organizing the Tamil Isai Programs ignited her passion to learn Tamil and the music and explore various ways to take to a wider community especially to Non Tamils and Non Indians.
